About the Manager of Pastoral Care and Mission Integrationrole
Help shape the provision of spiritual and pastoral care of patients families and staff at Calvary ensuring their diverse spiritual needs are identified and responded to with exceptional sensitivity compassion knowledge and skill.
The Manager of Pastoral Care and Mission Integration leads a pastoral care team in the delivery of services to patients and their families and is responsible for ensuring that the diverse pastoral and spiritual needs patients and staff are identified and responded to. The Manager of Pastoral Care and Mission Integration is part of a state-wide team of colleagues pursuing the implementation of Calvarys Mission and Values.
As the Manager of Pastoral Care and Mission Integration some of your main duties will include:
- leading a team that provides spiritual care support to patients according to triage priorities
- assisting the Regional Director of Mission to lead a number of Mission related projects
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
About you
You are a highly engaged professional practitioner committed to upholding the dignity of people across healthcare settings and striving to make a meaningful contribution to their wellbeing and quality of life.
- A tertiary qualification in pastoral care spiritual direction counselling or similar
- Clinical Pastoral Education and/or equivalent Recent experience working in a similar role in aged care health care or community care
- Established skills in preparation creation leadership and facilitation of meaningful rituals
- Eligibility for SCA certified membership
