Job Summary
Job Title: Business Analyst (Advanced)
Location: Tallahassee FL 32311 (100% onsite - Need local candidate only)
Contract Duration: 4 Months (Possible Extension)
Position Summary
Navitas Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Advanced Business Analyst to support a full lifecycle Agile development team. The role involves working closely with SMEs and stakeholders to translate strategic and operational needs into clear business and technical requirements while supporting modernization remediation and migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Gather analyze and document business functional and technical requirements.
Perform as-is/to-be analysis process modeling and gap analysis.
Develop business cases cost estimates feasibility studies and funding documentation.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and prioritize requirements based on business value and impact.
Support SDLC activities including design testing (functional regression integration performance) and implementation.
Analyze demand trends and prepare executive-level summaries and reports.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of business and systems analysis experience.
Strong knowledge of SDLC data migration QA/testing methodologies and business-to-technical requirement translation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) Visio and Power BI.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Preferred
Experience with Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of change/release management and project governance frameworks.
Certifications such as CSM CBAP PMP PMI-ACP PMI-PBA or ITIL.
