Job Summary

This position sets up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures processes and performs quality control checks on cine radiographic images assists in preparing patient for procedures and assists other members of the cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians as needed to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures.

Responsibilities

(35%)* Assists in prepping patients sterile tray set up post-cath care and procedures and room clean up.

(35%)* Manipulates equipment and sets appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality.

(30%)* Operates a variety of electronic equipment including cardiac output computers oxygen saturation equipment hemodynamic equipment pacemakers etc. and performs oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements.

Interventional Radiology Experience - REQUIRED
Neuro Experience - REQUIRED

LARA and/or Nursys must state Active Michigan/MI License - REQUIRED DOCUMENT
Active American Heart Association BLS - REQUIRED DOCUMENT
Active ARRT Certification - REQUIRED DOCUMENT

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : For Call
On Call Requirements : There is going to be a call requirement that will include weekends and holidays. This is about 1 day a week and about 1 weekend a month.
