Compensation

Base Salary: $74612 $98488 per year
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience qualifications and overall fit.

Position Overview

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive nutrition services program within a community-based senior healthcare setting. This role collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary team (IDT) to deliver individualized nutrition care oversee meal service operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

The position focuses on supporting vulnerable senior populations through high-quality value-based nutritional care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify participants needs goals and dietary requirements
Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to develop and update individualized care plans
Deliver and document nutrition interventions in accordance with physician orders and approved care plans
Implement and monitor therapeutic and special diets
Provide nutrition counseling to participants and families
Oversee menu planning and meal delivery programs to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Supervise and mentor nutrition staff including hiring and training
Support intake and enrollment processes for new participants
Maintain compliance with federal state and regulatory guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

Registered Dietitian credential
Minimum four (4) years of experience directing nutrition services in a similar setting
At least one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly populations
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid Certification
Reliable transportation
Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
