Job Summary
HVAC Install Technician
Location: Detroit MI
Were seeking a skilled and experiencedCommercial HVAC Install Technicianto join our this role youll focus primarily on the installation of HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure new systems are installed safely efficiently and in compliance with all applicable codes and industry standards.
Location:Detroit MI (and nearby cities)
Pay:Up to $45 per hour
What Youll Do:
- Install commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (RTUs) split systems walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Set and connect equipment ductwork refrigerant piping and controls according to blueprints and manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
- Complete system start-ups and ensure proper operation after installation.
- Follow all local state and national HVAC codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades on job sites to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license.
- Universal EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.
- 35 years of HVAC experience with a strong focus on commercial installation.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and mechanical plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
