Job Summary

Job Title: Kofax Developer (.NET / ECM / Document Automation Specialist -14 yrs)

Location: Atlanta GA (Onsite -Local & non-Local)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

  • Design and develop custom Kofax workflows and data extraction models using KTM.
  • Build scalable and maintainable capture and content management solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.

Process Automation

  • Automate information capture classification validation and routing for structured and unstructured documents.
  • Enhance throughput accuracy and operational efficiency using intelligent capture solutions.
  • Implement OCR/ICR barcode recognition and machine learning-based classification technologies.

Integration

  • Integrate Kofax platforms with enterprise systems such as ECM solutions databases and cloud applications.
  • Develop and consume web services using REST and SOAP.
  • Support integrations with IBM Content Management and OpenText/RightFax platforms.

Development & Scripting

  • Develop applications and enhancements using C#.NET Core WinForms WCF WPF LINQ and Entity Framework.
  • Work with backend RDBMS databases.
  • Utilize scripting languages including VBScript JavaScript SBL and Win Wrap Basic.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Design principles in all development activities.

Configuration & Maintenance

  • Install configure and tune application servers and client components.
  • Apply service packs and patches to maintain system stability and security.
  • Configure and support Kofax servers and scanning environments.

Documentation

  • Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and test plans.
  • Maintain system and operational documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience in system analysis design and development of Document Management Systems Records Management and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) processes.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Kofax Capture
    • Kofax Transformation Modules
    • Kofax Capture Import Connector
    • Kofax Capture Network Server
    • Kofax TotalAgility
    • IBM Content Manager
    • OpenText RightFax
  • Strong programming expertise in:
    • C#.NET
    • Core
    • WinForms WCF WPF
    • LINQ Entity Framework
    • Backend RDBMS databases
  • Experience with scripting technologies:
    • VBScript
    • JavaScript
    • SBL
    • Win Wrap Basic
  • Deep understanding of:
    • OCR/ICR and barcode technologies
    • Image preprocessing techniques
    • Machine learning-based classification
    • Automated data and document extraction methods
  • Experience installing configuring and applying service packs on application servers and client environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
