Job Summary
Shape precision components on 2nd or 3rd shift in Milwaukee
Join an established precision engineering company near Timmerman Airport and take ownership of full-cycle machiningprogramming setup and operationacross mills and lathes.
Location
Milwaukee WI (near Timmerman Airport)
Your day-to-day
On your shift youll review prints and routings plan tooling and fixturing write or edit G & M code and run both manual and CNC equipment to hold tight tolerances and fine finishes.
- Build parts using both manual machines and CNC machining centers
- Create accurate CNC programs and verify code prior to first run
- Set up prove out and operate mills and lathes to exacting tolerances
- Design/arrange fixturing; mount and secure workpieces
- Set stops and calibrate fixtures to appropriate reference points
- Load programs/cards via the console; correlate machine position with controls
- Manually step through operations to validate tooling clearances speeds and feeds
- Recommend tooling and process sequences for complex or first-time parts
Shifts
- 2nd shift: 2:30 pm 10:30 pm
- 3rd shift: 10:30 pm 6:30 am

What youll bring
- 5 years of machinist experience
- Accredited apprenticeship or equivalent training
- Strong math aptitude
- Hands-on CNC programming knowledge (G & M code required)
- Ability to read/interpret prints specifications and routings

- CNC Mill (34 axis VMC)
- CNC Lathe (24 axis) and Turning Lathe
- Horizontal Machining Center (5 axis)
- Vertical Lathe
