The Team:

The Collection Platforms and AI team drives S&P Globals AI strategy to create a truly digital workplace focusing on agentic automation as the next frontier in intelligent process evolution. We combine cutting-edge technologies including LLMs generative AI multimodal AI and cloud-native infrastructure to transform how we collect essential intelligence for our customers. Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive AI strategy initiatives that drive automation across S&P Globals operations and data collection processes

  • Spearhead agentic automation projects combining LLMs generative AI multimodal AI and orchestration layers to enable autonomous decision-making and task execution

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities that improve quality efficiency and expand into new markets and products

  • Drive the democratization of AI tools across the organization by building AI literacy programs and empowering workforce adoption of intelligent automation

  • Oversee transformational projects using state-of-the-art technologies and data science methods working with both internal teams and external vendor partnerships

  • Shape the future of data collection intelligence ensuring faster delivery at scale while maintaining S&P Globals highest quality standards

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science AI/ML or related technical field or equivalent professional experience in AI strategy leadership

  • 8 years of experience in AI/ML strategy with at least 3 years in senior leadership roles driving enterprise-wide AI transformation initiatives

  • Proven expertise in modern AI technologies including large language models (LLMs) generative AI platforms (such as GPT Claude or Gemini) and multimodal AI systems

  • Strong background in automation technologies and container orchestration platforms (such as enterprise Kubernetes distributions OpenShift VMware Tanzu and others) with cloud-native infrastructure experience

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex multi-million dollar technology transformation projects

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical concepts for executive audiences

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with agentic AI systems and autonomous decision-making frameworks in enterprise environments

  • Background in financial services data intelligence or information services industries with understanding of data collection and processing at scale

  • Proven track record of building AI literacy programs and change management initiatives that drive organizational adoption of new technologies

  • Experience with enterprise cloud platforms (such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud) and infrastructure automation tools including commercial and enterprise solutions
