The role of Accounts Administrator is an entry-level role that would suit either a candidate with up to one year of accounting experience or someone looking to take their first step into finance.
This is a development-focused position where responsibilities will grow as you become more confident and experienced.
Initially your tasks will include:
- Processing purchase invoices and assisting with supplier queries
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Completing bank reconciliations and statement reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records
- Providing general finance administration support to the wider team
- Helping with ad-hoc duties as required
As you learn and progress you will gradually take on:
- More complex reconciliations
- Month-end support tasks
- Exposure to journals reporting and broader finance processes
- Opportunities to develop in line with your studies and interests
This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about building a career in finance. You might be studying AAT or a recent graduate in Accounting Finance or a related discipline. Alternatively you could have up to a years experience in a finance environment
