POSITION SUMMARY:
The Court Operations Unit of the Court Services Division provides limited and general jurisdiction courts services and assistance in the form of standardized operational procedures court evaluations court financial assistance training resources and providing solutions and guidance to operational questions.
Under the direction of the Court Operations Unit Manager the Court Operational Review Specialist conducts reviews of court operations in Arizona courts and evaluates court operations in terms of compliance with law court rules administrative orders and written policy. Upon analyzing and summarizing the collected data the Court Operational Review Specialist prepares court operational review reports detailing the findings and recommendations for improving court operations. Other duties include documenting courts actions that are addressed in the court operational review reports including a final compliance response to the courts providing training on court operational findings to the court community and other duties as assigned.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Social Science or Judicial Administration or a related field. A minimum of three years experience in court operations conducting court reviews or financial audits or directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement. Additional requirements include: excellent analytical and report writing skills; excellent formal interviewing and interpersonal communication skills; knowledge of court policies procedures and operations; ability to analyze statistical data and derive conclusions from the analysis; and ability to understand and interpret legislation rules administrative orders policies and procedures.
Travel level: up to 25%.
