CYREBRO | Backend Engineer (Innovation Team)

On behalf of CYREBRO SD Solutions is looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join our Innovation (Security Automation) team. This team builds next-generation systems that process massive volumes of cybersecurity data and develops AI-driven automation solutions to replace manual analyst workflows. The role combines strong backend engineering with cybersecurity domain elements emphasizing new development and modernization rather than legacy maintenance.

Our platform ingests and normalizes large-scale data from diverse sources preparing it for automated processing and analysis at scale. We create software systems and AI-powered automation to handle security data efficiently enabling faster and more accurate responses without heavy reliance on manual processes.

In this role you will focus primarily on new development and modernization projects including rebuilding and migrating legacy internal systems into modern scalable architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Build and scale backend services and data pipelines powering core products
  
• Modernize and replace legacy systems with clean scalable architectures
  
• Develop automation and AI-driven solutions where they meaningfully add value
  
• Own features and projects end-to-end from design through production
  
• Work hands-on with cloud infrastructure and microservice-based systems
  
• Drive adoption of new technologies and engineering best practices
  
• Write high-quality production-ready code for secure high-performance systems
• Tackle real challenges around scale security reliability and performance
  

Requirements:

• 6 years as a backend engineer building large-scale production-grade systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Python (3 years) and Go (primary language for new development)
• Experience in cybersecurity particularly monitoring incident response or defensive operations
• Experience with serverless solutions and microservice architectures
  
• Proven experience with cloud environments (AWS GCP or Azure)
  
• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  
• Experience with high-volume data systems ingestion pipelines or large-scale data processing
  
• Strong software design problem-solving debugging and independent execution skills
  
• Comfortable taking full ownership of features end-to-end: design implementation deployment
  
• Independent versatile team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
