Job Summary

Task Responsibilities:

The position holder will be responsible for quotations reservations and booking of cargo shipments in coordination with headquarter in view of space and uplift guarantees freight.
Analizing feasibility of a freight transport request (nature of cargo dimensions destination..)
He has to handle customer service requests related to the booking of their shipment and coordinate cargo ground handling actions with the ground handling and/or trucking company.
He will have to update details on accepted cargo in the Cargolux System in order to allow tracing and final invoicing to customer

Essential Requirements For The Position:

General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent

Previous exposure in a cargo booking office environment is a necessity
Operational knowledge
Excellent level in written and spoken Dutch and English
Communicate effectively and assertively
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Results and target oriented
People and team oriented and able to work independently
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Fully PC literate in word and excel

Working Conditions:

Position based in Schipol Airport
Full time position
Occasional travel may be required
A certificate of good conduct will be required
The title of the position will be Agent or Agent Senior depending on the shortlisted candidate
