About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to support sales operations through the efficient staging slitting spooling picking packing and despatch of customer orders in a timely manner.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager Australia & New Zealand some of your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a clean safe and organised warehouse environment in line with Workplace Health & Safety procedures
- Operating slitting machines packing machines core cutters and other machinery as required
- Picking packing and despatching orders in accordance with standard warehouse procedures
- Processing customer orders in line with the daily production schedule to a high standard
- Supporting the Operations Supervisor and broader operations team
- Picking and pre-staging jumbo stock for machine operations
- Liaising with and booking couriers and freight services
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently follow processes and multitask effectively
- Working level computer skills SAP experience advantageous
- Fluent English communication skills written and verbal
- A reliable flexible and team-focused attitude
- A current Drivers Licence (Essential)
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
