Compensation
Gross Weekly: $2959
W2 Rate: $20/hour
Weekly Stipend: $2240
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health assignment in New York NY. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients experiencing acute psychiatric and behavioral health conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment crisis management skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care in an adult inpatient behavioral health setting
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic and adverse effects
Support crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with psychiatrists social workers and interdisciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification of RN License & Registration through NYSED
Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health experience (required)
ASN/ADN from an accredited nursing program
AHA BLS Certification
