Irrigation Estimator Local Perth Company
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $110000 $130000 per year
About the Role
We are seeking an Irrigation Estimator to join our team supporting a range of irrigation projects from consultation through to installation. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.
Hours: Monday Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret irrigation plans project documentation and bills of quantities to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors including issuing requests for quotes and evaluating submissions.
- Prepare detailed pricing take-offs and tender packages for projects.
- Ensure all estimates meet project requirements including budgets safety quality and technical specifications.
- Support the handover of projects to the construction team once tenders are approved.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules resource allocation and construction methodology documentation.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in irrigation construction estimating or related administration roles.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Exposure to CAD or other technical drawing software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
