Essential Functions:
- Installs maintains and repairs HVAC systems and equipment.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots HVAC system and equipment issues.
- Tests HVAC systems and components for proper functioning.
- Cleans HVAC systems and equipment to ensure proper performance.
- Calibrates HVAC systems and equipment to manufacturers specifications.
- Keeps accurate records of all HVAC system and equipment maintenance and repairs.
Education Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates Degree in HVAC Facility Maintenance Electro-Mechanical or Electronics preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Certifications:
EPA Universal Certification preferred.
Experience:
Five years of related trade experience (Hospital Facility Maintenance desirable) required.
