As a PwC Private Tax Manager youll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business transactions deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
Manage develop retain and mentor junior tax professionals
Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail
Proactively anticipate stakeholder needs and develop and discuss potential solutions
Contribute technical knowledge in specialism
Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart
Navigate the complexities of diverse teams and engagements
Initiate and lead open conversations with teams clients and stakeholders to build trust
Uphold the firms code of ethics and business conduct
Experiences and skills youll use to solve
Demonstrated experience working in tax consulting which includes tax compliance provisions and reorganizations for private clients and family offices
Experience working in an accounting firm (Small Mid-Size or Major firms)
Bachelors degree with major in accounting or masters in taxation and a qualified Canadian CPA designation
The completion of the In-Depth program is an asset.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner
Entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
Strong problem-solving skills excellent verbal written and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $84700 - $134700.The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major citycentres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary isdeterminedby your skills experiencequalificationsand work location.In addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities toparticipatein variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
