Zinfra is on the lookout for a driven and safety-focused Gas Service Technician to join our team in Orange and surrounding areas. In this dynamic field-based role youll be on the front line maintaining and repairing vital gas facilities and networks ensuring homes and businesses stay powered safe and connected every day.

Key Responsibilities include
- Complete all programmed and corrective maintenance of Zinfras client gas facilities and networks
- Ensure no gas outages due to maintenance and repair techniques and reduce call backs or rework on work performed
- Working in accordance with the code of conduct and safety policies and procedures and report all system and component failures ensuring you are following respective procedures
- Carry out risk assessments on all work
- Assist with resourcing during emergency or critical times
- Provide constructive input regarding issues affecting the team
About You
The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of gas networks and experience working with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Experience working within the utilities sector
- Proactive approach towards safety and excellent safe working practices
- Flexibility to work reasonable overtime as required to meet the needs of the business and being on a monthly after-hours callout roster
- Gas Fitting / Plumbing trade or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Current Australian drivers licence White / Blue card Asbestos awareness
