Responsibilities
Responsible for providing transport and delivery services within the hospital departments using wheel chairs gurneys and other appropriate equipment; and for assisting the nursing staff in restocking supplies and maintaining the general cleanliness of the department. Transports patients with IVACS O2 chest tubes foleys etc. Utilizes basic knowledge of body mechanics transfer techniques asepsis and CPR.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
