Full Charge Bookkeeper - Direct Hire Opportunity
Salary: $50000 $80000 DOE
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise. Prior public accounting firm experience a plus. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients maintain financial accuracy and operate independently with minimal supervision.
This position requires someone comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment with a high level of accountability and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client accounts
Maintain general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process payroll and related tax filings
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Support tax preparation by providing accurate financial reporting
Communicate directly with clients regarding financial matters
Ensure compliance with GAAP and firm standards
Qualifications
3 years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience
Prior experience in a public accounting firm preferred
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
Strong understanding of financial reporting and GAAP principles
Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience with payroll tax filings and sales tax reporting
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting (preferred but not required)
CPA firm background strongly preferred
