Position Summary:
We are looking for a detailed-oriented Epicor Data Entry specialist to manage and create Methods of Manufacture (MOM) within our Epicor Kinetic/ERP system. This role is critical in bridging engineering designs with shop floor execution by accurately defining how products are built including their Bill of Materials (BOM) and operational routings.
(This role is contract in nature expected to last 3-5 months)
Key Responsibilities
- MOM Creation: Develop and maintain part-specific Methods of Manufacture (MOM) by entering detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Operations (BOO).
- Engineering Workbench:Utilize theEngineering Workbenchto check out modify and check in part revisions ensuring all engineering changes are accurately captured in the ERP.
- Job Entry Support: Assist with Job Entry tasks including using the Get Details function to pull existing MOMs into active production jobs.
- Data Integrity: Verify the accuracy of material quantities scrap factors and resource labor hours to prevent production delays or inventory discrepancies.
- Part Master Maintenance:Support Part ID creation and ensure part settings (e.g. Non-Stock Pull as Assembly) align with manufacturing requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to troubleshoot MOM discrepancies and optimize routing steps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Prior experience with Epicor ERP (Kinetic) is strongly preferred.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes including BOM structures and operational routings.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in typing and data verification is vital to ensure production and costing integrity.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and preparation.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints to build structured routings.
Preferred Experience
- Experience using the Data Management Tool (DMT) for bulk data uploads.
- Understanding of costing methods (Standard vs. Average) as they relate to MOM entry
