Job Summary
The exciting opportunity
- Permanent part time role working
- Week 1: Wednesday Friday 9am 5.30pm
- Week 2: Thursday and Friday 9am 5.30pm
- Based at our 61-bed Grafton aged care facility
- Report into the Chef and work with a team of Kitchen Hands
- Prepare and cook food in line with cyclic menus standard recipes food texture modification and portion sizes
- Ensure that residents individual menu choices are met including any special dietary requirements
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment through cleaning and safe food storage

About you
- Successful track record as a Cook within residential aged care
- Experience preparing textured modified foods including minced and moist
- Personable respectful and with effective communication and customer service skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Unlimited working rights in Australia (sponsorship is not offered)
