We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Service Technician to install maintain troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems and equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to accurately read and interpret schematics wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
This is an in office/travel position. 75-80% of the time work will be completed at the office in Kent Island MD. The remaining 20-25% will involve traveling to client sites throughout the United States. Trips approximately 2-3 days long and all expenses are employer paid.
Salary: $/year depending on experience and education
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose troubleshoot and repair electromechanical equipment systems and components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams blueprints and technical documentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Install test and commission new machinery and system upgrades.
- Identify faulty components and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Maintain accurate service records reports and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for service and repair work.
Requirements:
- 5 years electromechanical service/maintenance experience
- Ability to read schematics
