Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operations of daily tasks at the Steven Tanger Center. This position plays a key role in supporting the Accounting Department and the Booking Manager.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $18.00 - $21.00.
For Part-Time roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open until May 22 2026.
About the Venue
A $94 million state-of-the-art facility that has transformed downtown Greensboro North Carolina the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts is home to touring Broadway productions concerts Greensboro Symphony Orchestra performances comedy shows and all types of family entertainment. Since its grand opening in 2021 the Tanger Center has hosted over 1.4 million guests. Presented with partners Nederlander and Professional Facilities Management (PFM) the First Bank Broadway Series is one of the nations top-selling one-week Broadway series. The 3000-seat venue is managed by the staff of the Greensboro Complex.
Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls and distributing calls to appropriate staff.
- Greeting visitors and responding to general inquiries.
- Sort/distribute inbound mail and UPS preparation of outbound mail.
- Review customer/client invoices for accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain records and files both electronic and physical.
- Order and maintain office supply inventory.
- Support monthly and annual closings.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma GED or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-2 years of general accounting and administrative experience.
- Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and telephone systems.
- Excellent organizational and strong attention to detail skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays.
