WhatYoullDo

The Branch Manageris responsible formanaging all aspects of thebranchfunctions in sales administration and operations whileexhibitingefficiency in budgeting inventory control profitmaximizationand customer satisfaction. The Branch Manager plays a critical role in creating a positive branch culture while coaching and developing branch addition the Branch Manager develops and implements market growth opportunities.

You will:

Sales & Customer Service

  • Develops and executes a sales plan to increase market share growsalesand increase gross margins.

  • Directs the sales activities of the branch.

  • Develops andmaintainsgood customer relations to promote World Electric as the distributor of choice.

  • Continuouslyacquiresand develops product and technical knowledge toassistsalesteamand customers with proper selection and use of products.

  • Trains/coaches associates onappropriate deliveryof customer service and extending branch resources to promote quality distributor services to our customers.

  • Oversees decision making and resolution of customer complaints and involves vendors or other internal departments as needed for prompt handling and follow up.

  • Makes joint calls with salesteamto existingor prospective customers toassistin building relationships and gaining new leads.

Marketing and Vendor Relationships

  • Develops andmaintainsprofessional relationships with vendors and other business partners.

  • Promotes and supports company-wide product promotions by displaying ordemonstratingproducts promoting uses and saleable features to customers.

  • Maintains a counter business with clean organized display areas to enhance presentation and promotion of company products.

Management & Leadership

  • Successfullyoperatesbranch within budget forecastmeetingor exceeding profitability goals reaching inventory turns and controlling overhead expenses.

  • Representsthe companys businessinterests at all times in a positive and professional manner by conducting business transactions and communications in a fair and ethical manner.

  • Complies withall Company policies and supports corporate department procedures such as Credit Pricing Accounting Operations and HR.

  • Assigns or delegates job duties necessary to run smooth and efficient branch operations andfacility.

  • Responsible for productivity quality ofworkand morale of staff.

  • Responsible for internal/external communications within the branch

  • Settheexample of a positive attitude with associates and peers.

  • Create an atmosphere thatrepresentsa passion for customer service.

  • Seeksassistanceguidanceor decision-making from upper management when necessary.

  • Interviews and hires to fill open or new positions following company policies and procedures andcomplying withlegal requirements.

  • Developsassociatesby using coaching skills and creating individual development plans.

Operations

  • Creates andmaintainsa safe working environment for employees andcomplies withcompany and legal safety rules and regulations.

  • Responsible for safeguarding assets of branch Inventory Fixed Assets Equipment & Cash.

WhatYoullBring

Education and/or Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in sales and business management

  • Strong knowledge oflogisticsprocesses systems and regulations

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of the distribution industry with a minimum of 4 years ofindustry relatedexperience.

  • Proventrack recordas a leader who solves problems and resolves conflicts to achieve a positive outcome.

  • Strong planning and analytical skills.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Proven ability to lead motivate and manage teams

  • Able to work independently and in a team environment

  • Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and ERP systems. Experience with EclipseERPa plus.

  • Ability to travel locally and regionally

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary business information
