The Events Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of our webinars in-person events and general marketing activities. The ideal candidate is hands-on detail-oriented and thrives in fast-paced environments.
This is a full-time position starting in February 2026. The role reports to the Communications Director and works closely with the communication team. While this role is remote first work from home travel will be required on occasion particularly to in-person events.

What youll be doing:
Webinar Management
Own the end-to-end execution of CFIN webinars
Create and managewebinarregistration pages
Schedule and lead internal kickoffcallsfor eachwebinar
Coordinate communications with speakers and panelists including timelines prep materials and reminders
Set up run and support speaker pre-calls
Attend and manage live webinars includingthechat serving as the primary point of contact for all panelists
Track and update post-webinar data including registrations attendance conversions and YouTube views
Email Support
Work closely with the Content Editor to set up test and approve all outbound emails to CFIN members
Support email campaigns related to webinars events and other CFIN initiatives
Ensure accuracy proper formatting links and scheduling across email sends
In-Person Event Support
Provide ad-hoc coordination support for CFIN-hosted in-person events
Assistwithlogisticsincluding venue coordination A/V catering vendors and attendee communications
Support on-site execution as needed to ensure smooth event delivery
Videography and Graphic Designing: Creating compelling content and shooting content editingvideosand promoting it
Coordinate the effective deployment of postevent wrap up surveys and follow up material.

You can manage your time well and work effectively in a collaborative fast paced agile and sometimes high-pressure environment. You are curious and want to find better novel and more innovative ways to solve business problems.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment enjoys juggling multiple projects and is comfortable supporting both virtual and in-person events from behind the scenes.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy professional and just as comfortable setting up a Zoom meeting as they are managing a registration table at an in-person event. Youll work closely with our Marketing Manager CFINs internal team and external partners acting as a key connector between our members customers and strategic vendors.

Education and Professional Background

35 years of experience in event coordination marketing operations or communications
Experience managing webinars and virtual events end-to-end
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with speakers partners and internal stakeholders
Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset
Familiarity with Zoom and Microsoft Teams isa must
Familiarity with email marketing platforms andwebinartools ( Mailchimp etc.) is an asset

Webinars are consistently well-run on time and professionally executed
Speakers and panelists feel prepared supported and well-informed
Emails areaccurate tested and delivered on schedule
In-person events run smoothly with minimal last-minute issues
Event data is tracked reliably and shared internally
Candidateanticipatesbusiness needs and proactivelyidentifiesopportunities for process improvement
Candidate displays high-level of self-sufficiency andis able towork independently in a fast-paced environment

Location and Availability

This is a remote role and the applicants must be based in Canada and available to collaborate with the CFIN team and stakeholders nationwide.
