As a Foodservice Sales Representative you will empower small and medium-sized businesses to thrive drive regional growth and deliver outstanding customer service. You will play a pivotal role in showcasing our products nurturing key relationships and contributing to our dynamic team culture. If youre motivated and excited to take ownership in a fast-paced autonomous role we want to hear from you!
Note - This is a 12month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
What youll be doing.
- Build and manage business relationships with accounts and distributors.
- Visit clients to present products and conduct cook-ups.
- Deliver on territory sales targets and business growth.
- Report on sales activities and emerging opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Mentor new staff and contribute to team initiatives.
- Support distributor planning and execute promotional activities.
- Win new business and grow existing accounts.
- Maintain accurate customer records and support ad hoc tasks.
- Travel regularly within the Lower South Island.
What youll need to be successful.
- Foodservice sales experience preferred.
- Self-driven proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Organised and effective time manager.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- New Zealand Drivers Licence.
About the team.
Youll be part of the Foodservice Field Team NZ reporting to the Foodservice Field Sales Manager NZ. The team functions collaboratively to drive market growth and support each others development. Expect to work in a supportive high-energy environment where contributions are valued and teamwork drives success.
