Compensation: commensurate with experience $20-$22/ hour

How you will make an impact

• Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to evaluate residents current health and functional abilities.
• Design and implement individualized exercise programs incorporating flexibility strength training and cardiovascular conditioning.
• Instruct and educate members on proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and maximize results.
• Support the coordination and delivery of community-wide wellness programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe fitness environment for all residents.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and staff motivating and encouraging active lifestyles.
• Assist in the daily operations of the Aquatic Center including performing required water testing and safety checks.
• Lead engaging group exercise classes tailored to varying ability levels.
• Provide specialized training for clients with diverse medical conditions and cognitive impairments.

What you will need

• Minimum of 1-year related work experience
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal Training Experience preferred
