The Claims assists the Director with the preparation of audit documentation and reports providing essential administrative and clerical support to the auditing team. The position is responsible for gathering information maintaining records and performing data entry.
Primary Responsibilities
- Obtain loss runs claims handling guidelines TPA service agreements and other documents needed to perform audits.
- Identify discrepancies in loss runs and format loss runs for audit vendor loss picks.
- Upload claim file information into Decision Focus (audit platform) and make corrections as needed.
- Retrieve audit reports from the platform and organize them for the Director to disseminate.
- Add users to the audit platform.
- Assist Director with ad hoc clerical tasks as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Upload/remove and sort documents on SharePoint.
- Compare vendor spreadsheets to databases and input missing information.
- Conduct web research to validate and update vendor contact information.
Qualifications :
- 1 to 2 years prior clerical or related administrative experience preferred but not required
- Experience working with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) software preferred but not required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite particularly Excel and SharePoint
- Excellent attention to detail with the proven ability to analyze and detect discrepancies
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
