WHAT YOULL DO
This is an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping H&M Groups people impact strategy and drive meaningful change across our organization and value chain globally. Passionate about advancing human rights and creating measurable lasting impact in the fashion industry.
In this role you will own and develop our approach to human rights and people-related impact ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements international standards and business priorities.
You will be part of the Group Sustainability team working cross-functionally with stakeholders across brands and functions to strengthen our human rights due diligence processes and drive positive outcomes for people across our own workforce and value chain. This role is central in integrating our human rights and people agenda into our strategy governance and operations.
How you will make an impact and contribute to our ambitious agenda:
- Be part of the development and implementation of our social impact strategy
- Co-drive integration plans for our people impact strategy into key functions and brands
- Drive activities aiming at sharpening and/or executing our strategy
- Represent H&M Group externally as one of the key voices for our people impact strategy
- Support external reporting of our progress
- Communicate our plans progress and learnings to both external and internal stakeholders
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with
- Bachelors degree in Sustainability Law Human Rights Business Administration or related field
- 5 years of experience working with sustainability human rights governance risk strategy and compliance in a multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of sustainability and its business implications with proven ability to set strategy ensure compliance and follow through.
- Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into pragmatic and scalable business solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of sustainability frameworks and regulations including CSRD ESRS (social standards) DMA and human rights due diligence frameworks including the UN Guiding Principles and OECD Guidelines GRC
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CoPilot
- Experience in designing or scaling positive people impact initiatives such as womens empowerment or workforce-focused programs is an advantage

- Skilled at building alignment across brands and functions creating shared priorities and direction
- Able to lead and steer impact areas end-to-end achieving results through effective stakeholder coordination
- A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and risk-based decision-making skills
- A collaborative leader with the ability to drive complex initiatives and influence outcomes
- Passionate about driving change for a more sustainable fashion industry
