Job Summary
Analytical Biochemist Group Leader responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Supervise others in performing clients service requirements
- Coach train and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
- Foster motivation and morale
- Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
- Prepare and review job plans conduct semiannual performance reviews interview applicants keep training records up to date for assigned employees perform succession planning in preparation for growth
- Coach and develop individuals and team to maximize performance
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or other related degree concentration or equivalent directly-related experience BS 6-8 yrs exp; MS 4-6 yrs exp; PhD 0-2 yrs with leadership experience
- Analytical laboratory skills.
- Experience with the following: HPLC UHPLC and CE
- Collaborative personality and acute attention to detail.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal communication organization presentation and technical writing skills.
Additional Information :
- The position is full-time Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- May be requested to work on weekends overtime and holidays based on business needs.
- Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis IN are encouraged to apply.
