JOB AD: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for BHRNs to partner with us in providing quality medical care to patients throughout the Unites States and around the world. Todays opportunity will allow BHRNs alongside fellow team members to deliver the utmost competent care with compassion to the patient population located in the additional locations:

Requirements:
Education:
- Minimal of an Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Graduate from a program accreditedby theCommission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)or theAccreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
License:
- A current unrestricted and valid license as aRegistered Nursefrom a U.S. State or Territory
- Professional certificationappropriate tothe specialty isrequired. For behavioral health thePsychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMH-BC)certification through theAmerican Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)is the recognized standard
- Continuous certification inBasic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ALS) for Healthcare Providers from either American Heart Association or the Red Cross is mandatory
Experience:
- A minimum ofone year of professional nursing experienceisrequired. Experience in correctional healthforensic nursing or acute inpatient psychiatric settings is highly preferred
- Preferred experience in correctional or detention health settings including familiarity withPBNDS(Performance-Based National Detention Standards) andNCCHCstandards
- Knowledge in infection control quality assurance andOSHA/HIPAAcompliance

- Must successfully pass a comprehensivebackground investigation
- Must be current on all required immunizations
- Required to complete all mandatory training and clinical skills verification within90 daysof onboarding
