Job Type:Travel Contract
Duration:13 weeks
Shift:3x12 Nights
Pay:$ 2084.76/week(plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide healthcare services within a correctional facility. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care to incarcerated individuals ensuring safety compliance and dignity in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments triage and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care within the correctional setting.
- Monitor chronic conditions and assist with preventive health programs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all facility state and federal regulations.
- Educate patients on health management and promote wellness initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols while providing compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in correctional health emergency or acute care preferred.
- Strong communication critical thinking and adaptability skills.
