Key Responsibilities: Strategic & Functional Leadership: - Define and implement IT strategy in China to support business operations in commercial manufacturing quality supply chain and regulatoryfunctions.
- Act as the primary IT business partner for local leadership translating global IT priorities into China-specific execution plans.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives tailored to Chinas regulatory and operational environment.
Enterprise Platforms & System Oversight: - Lead implementation and support of key platforms in China including:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)for ERP and operations.
- Salesforce CRMfor customer engagement and commercial excellence.
- Kingdee Financefor China-specific financial and tax compliance.
- DingTalk WeCom and Tencent Mailfor local communication and collaboration.
- Ensure systems meet life sciences industry requirements for validation auditability and data integrity.
Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with Chinas regulatory landscape including Cybersecurity Law Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and data localizationrequirements.
- Maintain IT controls and documentation to support GxP 21 CFR Part 11 and other regulatory audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with global InfoSec and quality teams to implement cybersecurity and data integrity controls.
Operations & Service Delivery: - Oversee IT operations across all Chinese sites ensuring system uptime service quality and user satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support for manufacturing systems distribution and quality operations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize IT service delivery through internal teams and external vendors.
Team & Vendor Management: - Build lead and mentor the China IT team fostering a high-performance compliance-focused culture.
- Manage local IT vendors system integrators and service providers.
Oversee IT budget planning and cost control for the China region. Qualifications: Education: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.
Experience: - 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role in China.
- Proven experience in the medical device pharmaceutical or broader life sciencesindustry.
- Strong background in regulated environments including GxP CSV and data integrity standards.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Microsoft D365 Salesforce CRM Kingdee DingTalk WeCom and Tencent Mail.
Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of Chinas IT compliance and data privacy regulations.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin(written and spoken).
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
