Summary
The Sales and Marketing Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by building strong relationships with commercial and residential clients promoting SERVPROs restoration and cleaning services and identifying new business opportunities. This role combines field sales account management and community engagement to expand SERVPROs presence in the local market.
Promote and sell Franchise services in assigned territory which results in meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. Grow and develop customer base by utilizing a systematic process (Route Selling) to identify new prospects and cultivate relationships by routinely contacting visiting and following up with customers. Use marketing materials like SERVPRO Key Differentiators and Emergency Ready Plan to market SERVPRO services and to sell the benefits. Provide and communicate clear and accurate pretesting scoping of services and job estimates. Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs ensuring customer needs are met.

2. Route Contacts Business Development:
a. Execute Contact Business Development Cycle
b. Document Progress
c. Develop sales objectives
d. Debrief with Manager
e. Execute referral and client appreciation activities
3. Commercial Business Development:
a. Conduct ERP (Emergency Readiness Program) presentations
b. ERP data collection
c. Develop and present ERP program to clients
d. Regular client visits and follow-up to ensure priority readiness
Responding:
a. First Response monitoring
b. Reconnaissance and lead qualification
c. Maintain brag book and Franchise references
d. Execute local response
e. Execute Storm response
5. Project Coordination
A. Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth handoff of new jobs and accurate communication of customer expectations.
B. Monitor job progress and maintain communication with clients throughout the restoration process.
C. Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Necessary Experience and Skill Set
A minimum two years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales experience
Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector
Superb sales customer service administrative and verbal and written communication skills
Strong business and financial background and process- and results-driven attitude
Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired
Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required

Experience with completing sale from initial lead through completion of job.
Formal Education/Training
Bachelors degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience.
Normal Working Hours Additional Working Hours and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position working varying hours between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position may require longer hours and some flexibility in hours may be needed dependent upon the business needs. As well as being available for on-call after hours on a rotating basis.
