Trinity Place is seeking a compassionate and dependable Transportation Aide to support our residents by ensuring safe and timely transportation for medical needs. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in fostering the well-being of our community.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional after-hours calls
Pay: To be discussed during the interview

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate medical appointments outside the facility with staff and providers.
Transport residents safely and comfortably to medical services.
Deliver lab samples and courier items as needed between facilities.
Maintain vehicle logs report malfunctions and ensure readiness for use.
Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones delivering mail and greeting visitors.
Submit billing charges and mileage information to Accounts Receivable.
Uphold LSCsmission vision and values in daily interactions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word Excel email).
Valid drivers license with proof of insurability and an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist in transferring individuals safely.
Ambulatory throughout the facility and able to operate vehicles.
