At Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Germantown 64-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. How youll contribute

The Nursing Assistant provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients. This includes but is not limited to:

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene grooming and mobility support.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning lifting turning and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans urinals commodes or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature pulse respiration weight height and blood pressure as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission transfer and discharge including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights telephone and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred
• CPR/BCLS certification required
