Full Time: 40 Hours Per Week

Fixed term: 3-year contract

The Opportunity:

Are you an ambitious Obstetrics and Gynaecology trainee ready to build a career as a future leader in academic reproductive medicine This prestigious threeyear Rosetrees Clinical Lectureship offers a rare opportunity to combine highquality Specialist Training in NHS Lothian with protected time and resource to accelerate your research trajectory.

Based in the Centre for Reproductive Health (CRH) part of the Institute of Regeneration and Repair (IRR) you will join a vibrant interdisciplinary community of clinicians and scientists working to transform care for women with conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome heavy menstrual bleeding fibroids and endometriosis/adenomyosis. You will develop a translational research programme supported by a 0.5 FTE research technician (24 months) research consumables and conference funding alongside worldclass laboratory clinical and data science infrastructure.

Clinically you will be fully integrated into the South East of Scotland Specialist Training Programme in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ST3 or above with NTN) with sessions and oncall based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and/or St Johns Hospital Livingston. Any Clinical Banding allowance agreed with the NHS will be paid to you in addition to your basic salary detailed above. This role is ideal for a clinicianscientist with a completed (or submitted) PhD/MD evidence of research excellence and a clear commitment to an academic career.
