Job Overview
We are seeking experienced BIM Modelers with expertise in MEP disciplines to join our team in Chennai. This is an office-based position with no option for remote work. The ideal candidate will be proficient in BIM modeling for HVAC Electrical Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems using Autodesk Revit MEP. Immediate joiners are preferred.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 3 to 6 years in BIM projects related to HVAC Electrical Plumbing & Fire Fighting.
- Software Skills: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of all MEP disciplines and their integration in a BIM environment.
- Knowledge of Navisworks AutoCAD and other BIM-related tools is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings specifications and project requirements.
- Strong coordination skills and experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage BIM models for MEP disciplines ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to integrate MEP systems into coordinated BIM models.
- Work with Autodesk Revit MEP ensuring precise detailing clash detection and constructability.
- Perform clash coordination using Navisworks and resolve conflicts between different trades.
- Interpret and convert 2D drawings into 3D BIM models while maintaining design intent.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines for BIM implementation.
- Review and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
Work on high-profile BIM projects in a collaborative environment.
