Facilities Specialist:

What Youll Do

Mechanical Systems Maintenance & Repair

• Diagnose and repair mechanical operating systems equipment and components using manuals schematics and test equipment to identify faults and operational issues.
• Conduct daily weekly and monthly preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and rotating equipment to identify hazards defects or required adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as part of a team including disassembly/reassembly gearbox overhauls bearing replacement and other mechanical work.
• Perform all work in accordance with plant safety standards housekeeping requirements and quality procedures.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain complete and accurate equipment records within the CMMS including tests repairs maintenance activities and modifications.
• Recommend improvements or design changes to mechanical systems equipment or maintenance procedures to enhance reliability and performance.

General & CrossFunctional Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Senior Facility Maintenance Manager.
• Assist with spare parts inventory audits to ensure availability of critical components.
• Identify and report hazards defects or unsafe conditions to the Senior Facility Maintenance Manager.
• Monitor equipment deterioration and escalate concerns when continued operation may pose safety risks.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with other departments to minimize operational disruption.
• Maintain clean safe and organized work areas at all times.
• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

What You Bring

• 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Millwright.
• Strong work ethic with a solid record of discipline attendance and safety.
• Comfortable working with computers and able to learn new systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Experience performing repairs and routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Strong problemsolving skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent followup and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fastpaced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime or respond to call-ins when needed.

Working Conditions

• Shift: Nights (SundayThursday 8:30 p.m. 5:00 a.m.)
• Environment: Work in a diverse teamoriented environment.
• Physical Requirements: May include sitting squatting walking overhead reaching lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing stairs or ladders.
