Steeles is hiring Independent Contract Owner Operators for our Edmonton terminal. We are looking for experienced drivers with 5ton straight trucks or tandemaxle daycab tractors to support highvolume local delivery work.

Equipment Requirements
5Ton Straight Truck
- 2017 or newer
- 24 or 26 white box & cab
- 3000 lb hydraulic tailgate
- Heated box
- Electricpowered pallet jack required
- Clean rustfree wellmaintained equipment
TandemAxle Day Cab
- Clean professionallooking tractor
- Reliable wellmaintained condition
Independent Contractor Qualifications
To be eligible for our insurance program contractors must meet:
- Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience in Canada
- 35 year commercial drivers abstract
- Professional references to verify experience
- Fluent in English (verbal & written)
- Must provide own WCB coverage
- Must operate as an Independent Contractor with required equipment
