Job Description Summary
As a Data Analytics Engineer on the Steam Power Data & Analytics team you will be instrumental in building delivering and maintaining robust data pipelines and reporting solutions on the Steam Data Lake platform. You will operate in a fast-paced Agile environment ensuring timely and quality delivery of your solutions. Operating within a dynamic Agile environment you will ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of solutions. You will collaborate with product owners technical leads and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions. Additionally you will contribute to Generative AI (GenAI) use cases for the Steam Power Business as needed.
Job Description
Work closely with Product Owner/Tech lead/Senior Developers to implement solutions align with business requirements & adhere to technical design standards and best practices
- Design and build visualizations/dashboards for S&OP Users of Steam Power Business which will include:
- Design and Develop ETL pipeline based on requirements using Talend
- Writing SQL scripts data modelling (Oracle/PostgreSQL)
- Build insightful data visualization/dashboards using reporting tools like Tableau / Power BI
- Unit testing Integration Testing and support UAT. Ensure thorough documentation as necessary
- Provide regular updates in Daily standups and participate in Sprint Meetings like Capacity Planning Sprint prioritization Sprint retrospectives to meet sprint/business goals.
- Review your work with the POD leads/Tech leads and obtain necessary sign-offs
- Complete assigned tasks on time and with high quality taking independent responsibility for deliverables.
- Engage with Source/AMS team to resolve issues
- Knowledge of Python AI/MLwill be a big plus
What youll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in STEM major (Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics)
- Min 2 years hands on experience in the Data & Analytics space.
