1. Internship Topic
Use of AI to improve due diligence and project agreements for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects
2. Summary of Job Description
OMDP is working towards advancing the use of AI to enhance due diligence and strengthen project agreements for PPP projects. AI will help streamline project-related assessments while improving documentation quality.
The intern will
- support analytical and operational work to integrate AI into PPP due diligence and documentation processes
- help identify tasks where AI can automate or enhance assessments and analyze PPP agreements and risk frameworks
- prepare and validate structured inputs coordinate with stakeholders and support pilot testing of AI-assisted tools
- conduct research on AI use in PPP project development analyze existing frameworks and review PPP agreements for AIrelevant clauses.
- design classify and tag PPP documents extract key data for AI inputs
- map current PPP due diligence workflows and propose AIenabled enhancements to reduce manual effort.
- assist in researching clause libraries and riskallocation templates for AIpowered contract analysis.
- prepare presentation materials on AI use cases and maintain organized repositories of research datasets and documentation.

6. Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in a masters degree or PhD program in a relevant program in fields aligned with PPPs infrastructure development economics public policy finance engineering or related disciplines.
7. Relevant Experience and Other Requirements
- Relevant research experience with private sector financial institutions and/or in infrastructure sector and/or experience with development of AI tools and agents
- Preferably with 2-3 years relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical and research skills; comfort with structured data is desirable.
- Interest in AI digital tools and innovation in public sector processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
