About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citcos core business and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industrys most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
Research and gain understanding of corporate action events using market data information from Bloomberg and S&P Global.
Prepare and review daily events including but not limited to market-listed corporate actions dividends paydowns and restructurings in line with Client Service Level Agreements.
Resolve open break items between Citco and broker/counterparty records by liaising with clients and third parties.
Understand financial instruments so as to verify the impact of corporate actions and ensure proper P&L capture.
Work in a team environment and maintain positive and professional relationships with Investment Managers clients and other Citco offices.
Work with teams within and outside of Data Operations to identify and implement process improvement.
Qualifications
About You:
Youhave aBachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Economics preferred
Knowledge of or an appetite to learn financial instruments such as Common Stock Bonds Options futures Forwards Swaps and other instruments
Possess a high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with advanced formulas data analysis and macros an asset
1 years of experience in Financial Services with exposure to Operations Processing an asset
