Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join its high-acuity critical care team. This 392-bed acute care facility includes advanced specialty services such as a Heart Institute and Comprehensive Stroke Program providing care to medical surgical cardiac and trauma patients.

This role is ideal for experienced ICU nurses who thrive in fast-paced high-complexity environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Monitor patient progress and respond rapidly to changes in condition
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Educate patients and families regarding medications treatment plans and discharge instructions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Florida RN license (or Compact License; Florida licensure required within 60 days)
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required (MICU SICU or CSU experience accepted)
AHA BLS certification required
ACLS and NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire
Strong clinical judgment critical thinking and communication skills
