New Business Advisor
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and sales-driven New Business Advisor to join a team. This role is focused on generating new business revenue through prospecting lead follow-up and relationship-building in a consultative sales environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sales a passion for networking and a strong drive to succeed. This position offers hybrid flexibility after a comprehensive training period.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: Competitive base with commission on new business premium (scales with production thresholds).
- Benefits: Competitive benefits package 401(k) paid time off professional development opportunities etc.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business revenue through warm calling and networking.
- Analyze multiple carrier options and recommend the best-fit coverage for clients.
- Provide fast and consistent follow-up on warm leads.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize client value.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking and attending client-facing events (2 events per month).
- Deliver exceptional service to clients fostering long-term relationships.
Primary Focus: Personal Lines clients with a specialization in collector/exotic auto enthusiasts and high-net-worth households (target: $7K premium per account).
Qualifications/Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Active P&C license (general lines).
- Proven P&C insurance sales experience with a strong drive for results.
- Recent industry experience (post-COVID strongly preferred).
- Comfortable with warm outbound calling and networking.
- Stable tenure history.
- Local to Dallas TX with a sustainable commute to the office.
Nice-to-Haves:
- 2 years of P&C sales experience.
- Experience with EZLynxsoftware.
- Familiarity with high-value carriers such as Chubb or Pure.
- Interest in the collector/exotic auto niche.
Key Skills:
- Consultative selling approach.
- Strong communication and service orientation.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
