Th Quality Engineering Technician provides inspection support for final and incoming inspection of contract manufacturing materials. Inspection processes include visual and dimensional inspection review of manufacturing and supplier documentation and tensile testing. Provides assistance with customer and factor-facing quality support for contract manufacturing of medical device components. Assist with supporting the interface between Resonetics and customers supplier quality organization assisting with transition and sustaining of laser micromanufacturing processes and support for supplier quality management.

2nd shift hours: 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting final documentation packages
  • Conducting incoming inspection of raw material
  • Working on continual improvement projects as assigned
  • Assist with customer quality personnel to resolve issues and Customer Complaints
  • Generating process deviations Customer Change Notices validation protocols & reports
  • Assisting with troubleshooting of production processes
  • Assisting with PReP process activities
  • Maintain the calibration and maintenance programs
  • Assist with developing and maintaining quality/control plans
  • Assist with developing PFMECAs
  • Conducting Gage R&R studies
  • Work with Quality Systems to resolve Corrective and Preventive Actions
  • Document Nonconformance dispositions and route for approval
  • Support production and validation data analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Quality Control role
  • Experience with measurement equipment and microscope use
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Device Manufacturing background preferred
  • Familiarity with ISO and FDA Compliance desirable
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills
  • Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience.

Physical Demands

  • Primarily light office work
  • May involve bending and lifting of light to medium weight objects.

Compensation

For temp temp-to-hire and regular full-time positions our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Thecompensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $20-30/hr
