Caterpillar in Seguin Texas is seeking a dynamicProduction Technician Ito join our Short-block Auto-head (SBA) assembly team! Additional Information:

• Hourly Compensation Range: $18.05 - $21.10
• 1st Shift: Monday- Thursday6:00am-4:30pm. Overtime asrequired.

What you will do:

• Align and secure engine components according to work instructions
• Install gaskets seals bearings hoses covers and visual components
• Ensure parts and materials used in assembly are defect-free
• Assistin problem-solving and improvement initiatives across departments
• Verify alignment of engine components using schematics and part prints
• Inspect parts and materials for quality defects
• Conduct audits and quality inspections to address known defects
• Perform torque audits leak tests and visual inspections on engines
• Submit and support resolution of C.P.S. Continuous Improvement cards
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and area-specific instructions
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and communicate effectively over radio
• Provide process information to supervisors and managers
• Occasionallyparticipatein training and development
• Support various stations throughout the assembly line
• Perform any other assigned duties

What you will have:

• Minimum of 2 months experience in a machining manufacturing or warehouseenvironmentor industry certification
• Abilityto work well with others
• Ability to read write and interpret documents in English
• Generalknowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel Word and/orPowerPoint
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures

What would make you a top candidate:

• Previousexperiencereading and interpreting part prints and/or schematics
• Previousexperience assembling engines engine components and/or generators
• Flexibility to work in an ambiguous environment
• Previousexperience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive operations
• Ability tolift upto 35 lbs.
