Job Summary

The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for planning analyzing adjusting and communicating production plans to maximize the efficient use of materials capacity and resources. This role supports business objectives by aligning supply demand and inventory strategies to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop analyze and communicate production schedules to optimize resource utilization
  • Identify and communicate supply and distribution constraints to refine the S&OP plan
  • Execute and support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
  • Establish manage and apply inventory strategies to balance availability and cost
  • Ensure delivery commitments are met within production capacity
  • Maintain accurate planning and system data within ERP/MRP platforms
  • Monitor and follow up on purchase order processing according to established business rules
  • Determine review and optimize MRP parameters to support operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling and material issues
  • Track production progress and proactively adjust plans as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning distribution and workflow optimization

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years of experience in production planning scheduling or distribution within a manufacturing environment
  • Degree in Operations Management Aerospace Manufacturing or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong working knowledge of planning tools ERP/MRP systems and inventory management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
