Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant / Medication Assistant

About the Role
ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with Medication Assistant certification to support clinical operations and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks while safely administering medications in compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care and clinical procedures
Administer medications in accordance with Medication Assistant certification physician orders and state guidelines
Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions
Record vital signs medical histories and patient information
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical equipment
Educate patients on medications treatments and follow-up care
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or equivalent) required
Medication Assistant Certification required
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
Knowledge of medication administration and safety standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
